Russian Jews, proably Bellarus and came to the U.S. with the U.S. pull out from Vladisvostok prior to WWI. Proably worked for the Czar's porcelain factory. Full name is Morris H. Strikow and died in 1961.
Full company name is California Belleek. Made Boeing Airplane plates, Kaluha bottles and small belleek items which are very rare. I believe he has an association with the Natzlers and Peter Voulkos. Believe Voulkos took care of burial arrangements. The Kaluha bottles represent varioius mezo-american cultures in style. Glazes are unusual and all bottles are porcelain. Enigmatic potter, may be of importance in future. Bellleek is a dead ringer for the early Willets - same wall thickness
