I was told by a collector of Tepco that there were a number of these mugs made as proto types prior to production for bars and that is why they were not marked "Tepco" prior to production. If you hold a marked one next to an unmarked one, they are nearly identical.

Very heavy glazed ceramic. Similar to a mug used in the early days of Trader Vic's. And the Harvey's mug is very similar, of course. Some people say that Tepco made these, but these two do not have any maker marks.
